Drove north to the McKenzie household on the outskirts of Dallas.

Just off the US 281 we drove on to the LBJ ranch. There was a Visitor Centre, leading on to the Johnson family cemetery, his schoolhouse and birthplace. We were able to drive around the ranch, before a tour of the ranch house: what between end 1963 and early 1969 was the 'Texas White House'.
